This flag is made from red, black, and green webbing—cut, woven, and stitched in the studio of Christine Miller. The material is the same used in the Utility Loop. A banner reading “MULTIPLY” is sewn across the top, with the full piece mounted on a custom flagpole.
The work plays with structure and collapse. Some straps are secured in a grid; others hang loose. Together, they hold the tension between function and symbolism, between building and unraveling. Made for the Juneteenth 2025 capsule.
